Ronan and Ally filled up the wagon with water. Ronan then asked if he could have some bugs. (Found them at Target, caplets that dislove in water and emerge as bug shaped sponges)

Fishing and Camping

Rob and Ronan adventured out this last weekend to go fishing and camping on the Kern River. As many know it was hot. By 10:30 PM the temp had only dropped to 95 degrees. They decided to head home and try another time when the fish might bite better and a breeze may come along.

Happy Fourth of July 2010

We had a great day. Of course we went to Dewar's Ice Cream for lunch. Then to our good friends house for swimming, a bbq and then fireworks. Thank goodnes for phones with cameras or we would have no pictures because we forgot the camera at home. Those swim lessons really paid off. Ronan could swim freely. At first Ally, would not get in. So Rob made her practice her stuff. She ran out of the pool for a minute and then begged her Dad to swim with her endlessly the rest of the day. We had two very exhausted children when we got home. Then didn't even make it around the coner before falling asleep.

I turned 40

My best friend Elizabeth and her family along with my family threw a great 40th birthday party for me. Mardis Gras was the theme. Thanks to everyone who came and for all the well wishes. Laura and Elizabeth took pictures. Will post when they send them my way.
